(My View on Fate)

How to see the fate? There is no consensus among people about fate. Some people think one's fate is destined while he comes into the world. Simultaneously, some people think one's fate is controlled by himself .

The former always think only rare people is lucky and destined. Hence, when opportunity comes, they usualy let it be rather than take effective measure, and say fate is unfair to them.

On the contrary, quite a few people claim that fate is unfair to everybody. Only by struggling and sweating, you'll attain success and luck, you'll enjoy a high-standard life. It just as old saying goes “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

As far as I am concerned, I agreed the latter. Thus, in order to get master degree, I'm paying painstaking on my lesson. In other words, the hard you work, the much progress you get.

Obviously, from what has been discussed above, we can safely draw a conclusion that fate is equitable to every one. Through struggling, you'll achieve you goal and good fate.

我是一名普通的农民工，从小就热爱读书学习，渴望将来有一天能考上大学改变自己和家庭的命运。12年前，因为家庭贫困，上完大一的我就离开了大学校园，从鄂东南的一偏远的小山村来到了广东这片热土，追逐自己的青春梦想。

仍记得1999年的深秋，我独自一人来到南方，行囊中除了几件换洗的衣服之外，其余都是一些书，有我大学所读专业的教材，有文学名著，还有我的读书笔记。临行时，母亲说书太多太沉了，让我留下一些，我却执意要全部带上，因为书是我的朋友，也是我的精神支柱！我的生活不能没有它们。

因为没有大专文凭，自己又是男生，在当年想谋得一份文职工作有多么难。流浪了数日之后，为了早日有个安身之所，我进了中山的一家鞋厂做普工，没日没夜地劳作，干的是劳动强度很大的体力活﹐睡觉的时间很少﹐无法挤出更多的时间去读书。实现与理想的差距让我看不到未来，于是我对生活渐渐失去了信心，开始随波逐流。两个月后，一天晚上，我路过街边的一个旧书摊时﹐被一本《外来工》杂志吸引住了，随手拿起翻阅，里面有一篇关于中国第一打工作家周崇贤的文章﹐它深深地打动了我，周崇贤的打工故事和写作经历给了我榜样的力量和对生活的信心。从那以后，我的文学梦想被点燃了﹐我对生活充满了激情。尽管工作依然十分辛苦，但我每天都会抽出1个小时来阅读、写作；尽管时常遭到周围一些同事的不理解甚至嘲讽，我依然执着于我的写作梦想。

打工生活对多数人来讲是单调乏味的，而我却充满快乐﹑激情和希望，因为有书为友。为了能够学到更多的知识，我曾为一本好书在书店柜台旁徘徊过数次，我曾在书店的书架前站立几个小时阅读而不知疲倦，我曾在宿舍厕所的路灯下拥书而眠。

后来﹐我进了宝成集团旗下的一家鞋厂﹐条件比以前的工厂好多了﹐员工文体设施齐备﹐工余生活丰富﹐最让我感到兴奋的是厂里面有图书馆﹐这是我进到这家工厂的主要原因。图书馆有藏书上万册﹐它成了我工余的好去处。在这里﹐我徜徉在书的海洋﹐如饥似渴地阅读各种书籍﹐不断地充实﹑提高自己。

下班后，工休天，当同事们忙着拍拖﹑看投影﹑溜冰﹑打牌的时候﹐我常常一个人静静在呆在宿舍或图书室看书、写作、投稿。由于自己的不懈努力，我先后在一些打工期刊上发表过多篇文学作品，还利用工余时间自修完了新闻学专业所有课程，自学了电脑办公软件及平面设计，我对自己的未来更加充满自信。

两年后，凭借扎实的文学﹑电脑基础﹐我顺利地面试上了宝成集团内刊编辑一职。再后来，我成为了该公司刊物的主编，一直到现在。回首走过的路，我能从一名流水线上的普工打工仔成长为集团公司的白领文化人，是读书成就了我的梦想﹗是读书改变了我的命运﹗

Ladies and gentlemen:

It is my great pleasure to speak here.The topic for my speech is :Never say never.

Everybody understands that Goals Can Be Reached No Matter How Many Obstacles Lie in the Way.But it is so hard to realize our dreams.Some people would give up with saying＂Never again＂.

It is commonly believed that there must be difficulties for everybody to face in the self-development.The basic reason is that the individual personality,experience and the education background will surely have some conflicts with the social circles and the social development. Therefore,the compromise should be regarded as one the best ways to deal with the problems appearing in the life and work.Sometimes,you will find that you are right with being misunderstood by the people around you,and sometimes,you will find that it is so difficult for the people around to understand your ideas,opinions and suggestion. Then,it depends on your persistence which you should have cultivated during your growth.The persistence will help you to overcome the difficulties,and reach the goals in your mind.Then your dream will come true.

So,Never say never.You will make it if you keep on going.
