I attended the English Corner last week, and I learnt a lot from it.

First of all, I made many friends, including foreigners and the students who wanted to improve his oral English like me. We talked a lot there about our hobbies and our life and I thought we all enjoyed it.

I also learnt that the key to improve speaking was confidence. I could not speak English fluently and I could not express my meaning clearly but with the encouragement of the foreigners, I kept talking in English and used all the words I knew to make them understand what I mean. And they slowed down their speed of speaking to make sure I could catch them. They told me that practice makes perfect so I would keep speak in English then.
