当人遇到挫折，情绪就会发生变化。这种变化的基因，是因为人的思维纠结而生。我们可以清醒地感知并从感知中获取自我情绪的变化，这种变化追求的结果，是为了在挫折中给予自身最大的保护。当然，我们会因自我保护的力量会伤害到他人或公共的利益，也会因自我抵御挫折的能力不足，而影响到自身的健康。此时，调节和控制自己的情绪就显得尤为重要。

首先，我们应该从认知上体会到人生道路之艰辛、坎坷之无常，不但自己，每一个人都是如此。有得必有失，有阳必有阴。每一次的挫折是自己能力不足而造成，每一次的挫折是自己抵御风险的经验不足而造就。其次，挫折和教训是我们成功的垫脚石。没有挫折，哪来成功的喜悦；没有挫折，哪来寻求的动力。我以为，人的一生适当的挫折确可以锻炼我们的意志，同时又可以积累我们的经验，培养我们的智慧和战胜困难的勇气。
