假期的一天，我看见爷爷在家里养蚕。
我蹲在蚕房里边看边琢磨：小蚕黑乎乎的，个头像大蚂蚁。才十天八天，它们就变成白白胖胖的大蚕宝宝了。我想：蚕怎么变得那么快的？我要每天都去看看它！
蚕蠕动着雪白的身子，好像在说：“好饿啊！”爷爷就喂鲜嫩的桑叶给它们。我听见一阵阵沙沙声，还以为下鹅毛雨呢！
再过一个星期，爷爷小心翼翼的把蚕放在蚕箕上。第二天晚上，大蚕宝宝不见了，只见有半个兵碰球大的纺锤球茧。那时我还没见过蚕茧，不知道那是什么。爷爷告诉我这是蚕茧，送去蚕丝厂，经过严格的高温消毒，处理后就可以从茧抽出丝来。我们平时见的蚕丝棉、蚕丝巾之类就是用这种丝做的。原来这样！
可是，飞蛾又是怎么回事？蚕茧大多数用来抽丝，少数的茧满分作文网发育得不好，会裂开一道缝，飞蛾从缝飞出来，产下灰色的卵，卵以后就是蚕宝宝了。我仔细看看蚕箕上偶尔会有黑黑脏脏的东西，问爷爷这是什么，他说：“没有放上蚕箕的蚕吐出丝，没有支架无法织出纺锤形茧，这些蚕就会死去。”真是“春蚕到死丝方尽”啊！
蚕茧看起来像我们吃的蛋卷一样薄，我轻轻按了一下，感到有点韧性。
我的脑子浮出一个疑问：蚕在这么厚的茧里不吃不喝，不会死吗？我查了资料才知道，蚕吃得特别多，可消化慢，把营养存在体内，等到没有食物的时候，也就是爷爷所说的“大眠”，他储存的营养素就发挥它的效用了。这不正是和骆驼驼峰原理一样吗？我发现了蚕的密秘，高兴极了！
人们可以通过“蚕的密秘”这个原理去发明一些相关的物品，以便利生活吧！
