学英文 单词是一方面，但是死记硬背是不能完全理解单词的具体的意思的 。一个单词有很多意思，并且侧重的方面也不一样，在不同的语境中意思也就不一样。最好的方法是放在语言环境中去理解。那么就去看地道的英文国家的英文电视剧或是报纸或是新闻或是杂志。这就跟我们中文一样，一些词在互联网上表达出来完全是另外一种意思。英文国家很多，有因为各地的文化不一样，所产生出来的意思也就有偏差。所以现在一般都是学美式英文，或是英式英文。可以多看看相关的实时新闻报道（我列举了一些媒体杂志新闻名字，但是提交了不了回答。所以这个靠你自己找了），实事新闻报道才是最贴近生活的。也是口语中经常用的词汇。至于英文美文，有点类似中文中的各种心灵鸡汤，没有什么用，实际交流起来，大家说的都是口语，都很接地气的，谁天天整的很文雅。还有一个最重要的。国内学英文，个人觉得环境很扭曲，一些英语老师国门都没有出去过，在国内闭门造车学了几年中国式英文，就去教学了。并且都还是应试考试为主，缺乏口语交流应用实践的环境。就说这么多吧
