One day, there was a blind man sitting on the steps of a building with a sign by his feet, that read: ＂I am blind, please help.＂

A creative publicist was walking by the blind man and stopped to observe that the man only had a few coins in his hat. He put a few of his own coins in the hat, and without stopping to ask for permission, took the sign, turned it around, and wrote a new message. He then placed the sign by the feet of the blind man, and left.

Later that afternoon the creative publicist returned by the blind man and noticed that his hat was almost completely full of bills and coins. The blind man recognized his footsteps and asked if it was him who had changed his sign? He also wanted to know what the man wrote on it?

The publicist replied: ＂I just changed your message so people could relate to it.＂ He wished the man well, said goodbye, and went on his way.The blind man didn't know it, but his new sign now read:TODAY IS SPRING AND I CANNOT SEE IT.

My puppy Snowy My parents bought me a puppy at a dog fair. I named him “Snowy,” because it is covered with white hair all over. On the weekends, I would take him out for a walk from home to a pet shop. Snowy likes all kinds of dog cookies and toys. Some are made of cow bone, and Snowy likes to chew. It is a 30-minute walk from my house. My cousins like to play with Snowy too. We throw a ball, and Snowy will catch it and give back to us. At the end, all of us get very tired but very happy! Snowy is getting bigger and bigger now. Sometimes he seems to be protecting me when we go out. He barks at strangers who get too close. Snowy is a good dog and I hope we can always be friends!

Gaga is a little duck. He is small, dirty and ugly. His friends don't like to play with him.

One day, Gaga walked behind his friends quietly（静悄悄地）.But his friends did not want him. Gaga was very sad and ran to the river and cried loudly（大声地）。

Just then, a big beautiful bird heard（听见）him crying and flew down（飞下来，落下来）. She said, “Please don't cry. Tell me, what do you want? I can help you.”

Gaga told the truth（真相）. The beautiful bird said, “OK, I can help you to become a good-looking duck.” Then she took out a blanket and put it on the duck's body. She said something which the little duck didn't understand. Then she took away the blanket. There stood （站立）a good-looking duck.

Gaga was very happy. He thanked the big bird and quickly went to play with his friends.
