I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in Chi-na. Everybody likes it because it's a family get-together. You see>it is called＂Mid-Autumn Day＂, so it often comes in September or October. It is on the 15th of the 8th of the lunar month. Now, let's say something about this interesting festival. I'd like to say something about the moon. I like it very much because I want to be an astronaut in the future. That day the moon is round, big, just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth. When I see the moon, I will remember the ancient myths——the godess Chang Er and her little rabbit are playing under the tree which Wu Gang grows. I will also think about Armstrong's first moonwalk. I will also miss the friends in Tai-wan island, in Macao and Chinese people who are abroad. I know they are missing us very much, too.

中文版；在一阵接一阵的期待中，我们迎来了一年一度的春节。从小在我的记忆中，春节一直有它专属味道，这种味道一直陪伴着我，直到现在。一味——门前火红的对联每年刚到大年三十，家家户户都忙着大扫除，把往年一切不好的东西通通都扫出去之后，便开始了最重要的——贴春联。往往每户人家都会选一副语句都最吉祥的对联贴在自家的大门上，这预示着来年能有一个安定，美好的生活。比如说我们家，今年大门贴的上联：天增岁月人赠寿，下联：春满人间福满门。横批：姜太公在此百无禁忌。这些春联在徐徐的春风中微微鼓动，发出脆脆的声响，好像在讲述着那个故事—— 太古时期，有一种凶猛的野兽，散居在深山密林中，人们管它们叫做“年”。年无恶不作，专在大年三十这一晚来吃小孩子，人们恨透了年。

但是人们又渐渐掌握了对付年的方法，年怕红色，于是人们就在自己的大门上贴上红色的纸，在上面写上一些吉利的话。这，渐渐就演变成了现在的对联…… 又一阵微风拂过我的脸颊，我睁开稍闭的双眼。映入眼帘的还是那一幅幅的对联。不过，我却感觉这是春节一种特有的风景。我好像闻到了年的味道…… 二味——桌上丰盛的年夜饭晚上，我们一家人坐在餐桌前，话语之间洋溢着欢乐的气氛。我又想起了外婆曾讲过的另外一个关于年的传说：相传，在百姓掌握了年的活动规律后，便想出了一整套过年的方法：这天晚上，每家每户都提前做好晚饭，把宅院后门都封住躲在屋中吃年夜饭，由于这晚餐有吉凶未卜的意味，所以很丰盛…… 吃完了年夜饭，看着满兜的压岁钱，心里那个乐呀！年的味道似乎越来越浓了呢！三味——热闹无比的春晚吃完了年夜饭，期待已久的春晚便开始了，精彩的主持，优美的歌曲，风趣的小品。
