My Trip

Yandang Mountains, Zhejiang province

Yandang Mountains is a coastal mountain range in Zhejiang province in eastern part of China, located near the city of Wenzhou.

The main peak of North Yandang Mountains, Baigangjian, rises 1150 meters above sea level.

In Summer 2012, I went to Yandang mountains for three days with my whole family: my mum and my dad.

Yandang Mountains is known for its natural beauty. You can see forests and bamboo groves, streams with clear water, waterfalls and caves.

The first day we arrived to Yandang Mountains, we went to see the waterfalls. There was one big waterfall which was divided in three different parts, and we had to climb the mountain to see each one of them. The atmosphere there was amazing!

The rest of time, we spent on visiting different temples and caves located inside the mountains.

People there were kind and friendly, and they also spoke some kind of local dialect.

The environment in Yandang Mountains is better than in Shanghai. Beautiful nature, clean air, clean water and nice people, it's all about Yandang Mountains.

I really liked the nature there and the people. It was an amazing trip and I spent a really good time with my family. I would like to go there again!

Sometimes they broke trees, picked flowers and killed birds. Some even made a fire in

the woods to cook food. How dangerous it was!

Luckily, great changes have taken place here. Tourists are used to putting the rubbish into the dustbins. What's more, they also stop others from throwing about litter. The birds are protected so well that they live very freely and happily in the mountain. In order to keep away from the forest fire, tourists bring their own meals instead of cooking.

All these changes make us very happy.
