A very good morning/afternoon to you all,everybody!Please allow me make a self-introduction.My name is &,coming from & High School.I am honoured to have the opportunity to share my ideas about our future with you.My topic is“Believe our future!”

For a start,I would like to ask you two questions.“Have you thought about your future?”and“What do you believe it will be like?”Well,some of you nodded,meaning that you have thought over.Great!Me too!Like you all,I have put great consideration on the questions.After experiencing a lot,I finally come to a belief,that is,we youth will have a bright future,because we have a proud name---Chinese.

Healthily growing under the Five-star Red Flag and warmly loved by our motherland,we feel very happy.We can receive good education and lead a carefree life without hardship or sadness.We have to admit that we are the happy generation.We suffer less and enjoy a lot.We're the flowers of our motherland and the pillar（栋梁） of the society.

As we all know that today's topic is about ＂savings＂. But this word ＂saving＂ itself has a very extensive meanings, which could mean that someone is saving up for Christmas or for the New Year. Or may be saving up to buy a new car or saving up to get married. But the ＂savings＂ we are talking about today isn't the above. The one we talk about is much more far reaching, which is not just an individual involvement. It is a movement that many or most people need to participate. The result from the movement or action will have a great impact on other people or even to the entire population and that is: energy savings! Along with the rapid development of our world, in order to safisfy our energy needs, a great deal of harm has been done to our enironment in the process of looking for new resource. It is now the time we all should stop for minute and think about the future of our world for the sake of our younger generations. We must try not to waste our resource and have to learn to save the energy. We can actually start from very small things, like turning off the TV when no one is watching it. Turn off the lights when no one is in the room. Use less car and taking trains and buses instead to save fuel. Same as water and gas, which we need to use them wisely too. If many of us are doing the same thing then a lot of energy and resource will be saved. When we don't use quite as much of electricity then there will be no need to produce quite as much too. If we produce less electricity that would mean we don't need to use quite as much fuel. When less fuel is needed then we don't need to drill for oil all over the place. Eventually, our environment will not be quite as polluted and wild life will be protected as well. So, please think environmental friendly, save energy, save your resource and make our world tomorrow a better place for everyone of us to live in! Thank you all for listening. 很希望会令你满意。
