Life is a Do-it-yourself Project 生活是一个自己动手的工程 An elderly carpenter was ready to reire.He told his employeer contractor of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoy the extended familiy. He would miss the paycheck but he needed to retire.They could get by.The contractor was sorry to see this good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor.The carpenter said yes but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work.He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials 有一位老工匠要退休了。他告诉老板他计划不再做建房屋的生意了，他要和他的妻子过更加悠闲的生活，享受大家庭的快乐。他会怀念他的薪水但是他得退休了。他们还可以过得不错。老板很遗憾，他的好员工就要离开了，他问老工匠是不是可以帮他个忙再为他建一个房子。老工匠答应了，可是不难发现老工匠被没有用心去干活，不但工艺粗糙，使用的也都是次品材料。 It is unfortune way to end his career.When the carpenter finished his work and the builder come to inspeck the house,the contractor handed the front door key to the carpenter and said:＂This is your house ,my gift to you.＂ What a shock!
