哈克贝利费恩历险记英文读后感
Huckleberry Finn was a great literary work published in 1885 and written by Mark Twain. One of the most positive things about the book would be that the reading level is not very advanced and that it shows us a glimpse of the past. Along with the reading level not being very advanced, the book itself is extremely well thought out, and brings the stories, characters, and imagery to life. One of the negatives is the amount of cursing that takes place throughout the book. This is a negative because it is at a children's reading level and it does not add any literary value to the book as a piece of history. The ugly but I believe necessary part of the book is the use of the n-word. This is a necessary part of the book because it shows to our children and everyone the meaning behind the word. If anything it makes the reader more understanding of the troubles that the slaves when though and understand the meaning of the word a little more deeply. This book was great, a masterpiece for the lack of words to describe how entirely wonderful it is. The book was a great classic, the only reason that I did read it is because we have to read a classic for school, however, now that I have read it I realize that it was a great book. I would read this book two or three times, and I do not like reading books again. The book was really able to portray the idea of childhood innocence and foolishness in the book, especially the end. I thought that this book was really an eye opener for people who may think that life is not worth living or maybe derpessed. Because, as you can see, Huck was a young boy who had an alcoholic father who beat him all the time, even kidnapped him after he was adopted by other people. Huck even decided to run away from his father, yet he is still a young, fun loving kid in the end, especially when Tom reveals to him how the whole trip was just a game. The only thing I have to say against the book is that it did seem a little racist with its words, however maybe this is just how they talked in that time period? Overall a great read that I highly reccomend.
野性的呼唤英文读后感300词左右
The call of the wild At the beginning of this century, many new writers emerged with the introduction of many new ideas. Among them, Jack London was the most popular one. His most famous novel is the call of the wild . Although it is a story about a dog, Buck, it vividly depicts the life in the primitive North where people rushed for gold and fortune. Buck, used to belong to a judge, was kidnapped and sold to North. Then he became a member of a dog-team pulling a sled . In the days of pulling a snow-sled, he learned to conform to the law of nature and obey the master. Finally, he found a basic instinct hidden inside him, which enabled himself to survive the tough environment. This is the call of the wild. When you read the story, you will feel that Buck is a man instead of a dog, struggling with his fortune and conforming to the law of nature. Though short, it is really a thrilling story. What you never forget is the tough life in the nature, the brave and crafty dog. Maybe the wild is calling you to go ahead. While writing for only 16 years throughout his life, London produced an amazing body of work among which, White Fang, Martin Eden, the Valley of the Moon are representative.
急急:福尔摩斯探案故事英文读后感
这部剧集我正好看过,你等等我写给你。 Something about Sherlock Holms When I was a child, I always heard the fantasy of Sherlock Holms. He is a great detective who is good at deduction. Moreover, he is extremely meticulous at things that others even don't realize. Actually, more detail appears when I start reading the book. One of the chapters talks about the robbery which was planned carefully by one of the assistants of Professor. Moliaty. Holms immediately checked the ground where there is a bank under it. It also didn't take him long to find out what was happening just according to what the keeper of the watch store reflected to him. Someone was trying to rob the bank! It was a big thing even for Holms. If I were him, I might be scream out loud and call the police, but Holms didn't. He patiently waited the robber to finish his work because if the police interfered into this event, they would screw everything roughly, and the thief would run away. Finally, in a quiet night in London, Holms caught the thief. It's very simple according to what I write, but in fact there are lots of dangers and risks when Holms is trying to catch the criminal. There are cross fires and fight, and struggling, which were caused by the desperate thief. Holms is somehow a strange person. He isn't interested in fame and money, though he is famous and rich. When people have problems that they can't solve, they will come to Holms for help. It's also the reason why people trust him 'cause he is really helpful and he shows people the truth instead of confusion. It seems Holms is a Saint, but it's not true. As I said before, he doesn't care much about fame. However, if you were him, will you be mad at someone who intentionally steal your achievements without saying anything to you? I certainly will. And that's where the author made the character lively. The police of Scotland Yard are very annoying. They don't have the ability to investigate things. They work based on what Holms have done, and after that, they stole the outcomes as if the case was done by them. Holms is a generous gentleman. He never asked the police to give him anything in return, though he loathed the police—that's the humanity mixed with generosity. And that is Holms—a person who is intelligent and meticulous.
