In economics, BRIC or BRICs is an acronym that refers to the fast growing developing economies of Brazil, Russia, India, and China. The acronym was first coined and prominently used by Goldman Sachs in 2001. Goldman Sachs argued that, since they are developing rapidly, by 2050 the bined economies of the BRICs could eclipse the bined economies of the current richest countries of the world.

在经济领域，金砖四国（Bric,Brics）是四个经济快速发展的国家的首字母缩写。这四个国家是巴西Brazil、俄罗斯Russia、印度India和中国China。首字母缩写为Bric，和砖块的单词Brick发音相同。这个概念最早是在一份高盛投资银行的报告中提出的，该报告称金砖四国经济发展迅速，在2050年的经济综合会超越现在世界上最富有的国家的经济总和。
