1.Impressions of Pride and Prejudice
Ive read a book called Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen during this winter holidays.
Jane Austen was unmarried all her life.
She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a fortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so theres not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel.
In Pride and Prejudice she talked different ideas about love and marriage through different characters.
The novel has told an interesting story: Mr.
Ben is an English gentleman with an estate in Hertfordshire.
He has five unmarried daughters but no sons while his inheritance must be inherited by a male, so Mrs.
Ben has been keen to seek husband for her daughters with great enthusiasm.
One day the Bens had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthy bachelor and followed be the target of Mrs.
Ben.At a ball Bingley fell in love with Jane Ben whos the oldest daughter of the Bens.
Bingleys friend Darcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while he thought all of them couldnt suit his preference, including Elizabeth.
Mr.Darcy always shows others a impression of pride, hing found this Elizabeth began to hate Mr.
Darcy. Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bent(second oldest daughter in the Bens) because of her lovely behior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice about him.
The official Wickham was weled by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took a shine to him.
Wickham told Elizabeth that his father had been the steward of the Darcys.
The old Darcy had regarded Wickham as his own son and showed more love to him than to Mr.
Darcy. After the old Darcy died, the property should be inherited by Wickham was all deprived by Mr.
Darcy, also was his pastorate.
All this increased Elis prejudice about Mr.
Darcy.At another ball Mr.
Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refused him.
Elis elder male cousin Mr.Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit the Bents property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bens.
Hing known that Jane was already engaged with Mr.
Bingley, he asked Elizabeth to marry him but was seriously rejected.
At last he proposed to Charllote who was Elis friend.
Mr.Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the help of Lady Catherine.
Once his family was invited to Rosings Garden by Lady Catherine.Elizabeth also went there with Mr.
Collin and Charllote.
There she met Mr.Darcy whos Lady Catherines nephew.
Later in a garden, Sir William told Eli about Mr.Darcys latest act of dissuading Mr.
Bingleys marring Jane Ben which caused Elis exceedingly anger.
Then Mr.Darcy came to the Collins and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.
Afterwards Mr.Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove her misunderstandings of him.
Elizabeths uncle and aunt were also impressed by Mr.Darcys politeness.Gradually Elis prejudice of Mr.
Darcy diappeared.Eventually they became couple.
The writer Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies different ideas of marriage and love through describing the different ways in which the Ben girls doing with their marriage problems ,and this undoubtedly shows the writers idea about love and marriage: its wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status while neither would it be without caring about those elements.
Jane Austen just attached great significance to marriage through her novel by telling people that marriage should be regarded carefully cause it is not a game you could just enjoy without prudent consideration.
She also wanted to deliver information that marriage should be based on real love between the lovers.
The female subject Elizabeth is a mid-class girl, and Darcy proposed to her regardless of the gap
between them, but Elizabeth refused because of his pride had formed Elis prejudice.
Cause Darcys pride was a suggest of status gap between he and Eli, he wouldnt he the same thought with Eli and consequently the ideal marriage.
But later Darcys doings especially his change of the prideful manner eliminated Elis misunderstandings and prejudice about him, and Eli accepted his proposal.
Those two opposite attitudes reflect females pursue of independent personality and equality.
I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy life.
Therere also Elis sisters love stories served as contrasts to the female subjects ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collins life: they do had a luxury life, but theres no real love between them and this kind of marriage is surely a tragedy of society.
英文读后感格式【2】
On the stage of life, somebody roars for the unfairneof fate, or swallows the glory of being an aristocrat.
Someone sinks into the marish of love, or bees mad for the radery.
What is love? Nobody could explain it thoroughly.
The eudaemonia of double-winned always hides the lament and pomp of self-sacrifice.
The phantom of the opera, a monster being born noblest, mask bees his first cold clothes since he get his life.
Merely for his face, he is excluded from the wonderful world with no dignity nor concern, he fall low to a ghost everywhere, even turns to be a clown in the tank of circus.
Loving the role of phantom, just for his awful visage, but his blood of eudaemonia cant be covered, his talent of music cant be ignored, his purchase of love cant be cut off as well.
He loves Christine, a inglorious dancer in the opera.
To help her steps on the throne of music, he creates the graceful music, the significant opera, and even vouchsafes the secret of music for her.
The phantom thinks that Christine belongs to him, or just because that she is poured with all his enthusiasm.
She represents all the rational and irrational pursuit of him.
However, when Christine makes a solemn pledge of love with Laur, the heart of phantom has broken into pieces.
Solitude and forsaken feeling has attracts him again.
The dismal shout lacerates the silent night of Paris, but its no using changing the arrangement of fate.
He is not willing to revenge, or, he knows he is not able to change the all in the real world, therefore, he chooses to kill piange to acts himself as the Tandheng, being the charater in the opera he writes for Christine.
Hidden in his thick coat, surrounded with the police in the opera house, e on his peak of poetic perfection with his lover.
Wishing to bee the dominance of love in his own created world.
He might knows he must dies in the tragedy of the real world.
He takes off Christine, however, is he really wants to occupy her? No, because when Christine kissed him deeply without notice his face, he shambles.
We can even realize the monster-like face is tearing.
It is a sense of felicity, a kind of esoteric felicity.
He is not that cruel, nor is lack of sympathy, what all he need is just the dignity of others, the dignity from the person he loves.
He can give up Christine, ma-ki-ng her take it on the lam with Laur, but want to see the straight inside Christine, the cling of Laur.
When Laur is found to be willing to be hunged but to give up Christine, he understands, the soft-like man has the greater bry.
The purchase of love makes the people or the people of weaknemore strong.
The power of love urges us to fet all the frightening to pursuit.
Or we can say, the cruelty of phantom born from the birth of the unforture experience from his childhood, of the personality of his inferiority.
But how can we judge a mans selfhood? Everyone is growing through the sorrow.
When we are hurt by others, theres a big possibility we will hurt others as the response.
But in my opinion, the love between Laur and Christine is more likely to be a illusion between the friends in childhood, ma-ki-ng us think it just a delusion when a Cinderella meet with her price.
Whats the further development? Its on the air.
Why theres just Laur himself appears in the bidding block at the beginning of the movie? Wheres Christine? 30 years is long time to change the sea into field, has the beautiful girl already sleep in the soil? Has she still remember the phantom of ugly but talent?
