Respected leaders and teachers of Zhengzhou University, Hello!

Firstly, thank you for taking your busy time to read my letter of self remendation.

My name is XXX, a student in western of Henan Province.

When I was a little girl, my parents often told me that change my destiny with the knowledge, and go out of the mountains with my knowledge.

So I study hard, from the primary school to high school, the excellent grades are my parents pride.

In the third grade of junior high school, I got into the best high school in my city with 20 scores more than the score line.

I was deeply interested in English from junior high school.

I took part in Li Yang Crazy English Training Camp by accident, and achieved the title of Outstanding Camper.

It increased my passion of learning English.

In the three years of High School, I had a great progress with the help of the creative teaching method of my English teacher.

Whatever enjoy the American TV series or listen to amazing English songs, these activities practiced my oral English greatly.

Furthermore, my teacher let us translate the dialogues in the movies into Lingbao dialect.

It also added my interests in learning English.

In the second grade of high school, I took part in the National English Innovation petition.

Although I didnt get the prize, I learnt a lot from the process.

I think English is not only a subject, but also a culture.

It infiltrates in all aspects of our life.

Learning English well is not only for personal development, but also for showing more graceful posture of China in the world.

Zhengzhou University is the only national 211 Project key university in Henan.

It is also a dream heen of numerous students.

To be a member of it and studying in it is my dream.

The free academic atmosphere and the deep culture attracted me strongly.

I hope the teachers can give me this

precious opportunity of studying here, and realize the dream of a student in rural who has thirsty for knowledge.

In the three years of high school, I he been working in class mission and charge labor and art.

In the process of servicing the classmates and our class, I find the value of myself and also enhance self-confidence.

In the process of contacting with others I developed a warm, cheerful and positive personality.

Driven by the burning passion for literature and performing, I anized and acted in our school variety show.

I created a sketch, named Good Recruitment of China.

I got much help of my teacher and classmates in the process of creation and performance.

I felt the strength of team work.

At last, our sketch got a good response.

And then I participated in the creation of class song.

The passionate melody bees the exhaustible power of making progress for all students in our class .

I became a volunteer of the Welfare Centre in our city.

In my free time, I often visit the disabled children with classmates.

Because of their innocent smile and thirst eyes for knowledge, I had an idea to be a volunteer teacher.

So I plan to teach in village with my free time in university and make a contribution for the construction of our country with my own meager strength!

For the students in rural areas, entering into the university means go out of the mountains and change the destiny.

It also means I he the power to make a contribution for the construction of my hometown.

Im a student of Zhejiang, hoping to study at Hong Kong University.

Im going to introduce myself and reasons for the choice as follow.

Above all, the strength is one of the major aspects to encourage me to apply for HK University.

The self-control, extensive social skill, high sense of responsibility, strong anization ability is what I acquired from my high school.

I he served as vice-minister of propaganda department of students union for a year.

This precious experience enhances my ability of anization and social contacts,and makes me handle the balance between work and study well.

Whats more, I he expansive interests such as painting, writing and playing volleyball.

So, up till now I he participated in various activities and all gained good results.

With all this things I he learnt, I truly find my connotation bee rich and rich.

Im a student of arts, and as far as I know, Hong Kong Universitys faculty arts are pretty famous, for it is one of faculties that he the longest history and largest scale.

All the advantages are just great enough to light my passion.
