今天，学校举行了一场英语口语总决赛，由六年级各班挑选出来的六十位选手参加比赛。我是班里四个代表之一。比赛前，我们进行了培训，也做了充分的准备，所以信心十足，相信自己能够取得好成绩！上午九点钟，在大礼堂，我们的比赛正式开始了。一共分三个环节，第一个环节是评委老师报单词，选手们依次上台拼出单词，然后统计对的个数和得分，前四十名进入第二环节进行比赛。
第一环节全是简单的，我们班四位选手都顺利进入了第二环节参加比赛，我们击掌为我们自己鼓起加油。台下班里的同学们也响起热烈的掌声。第二环节是阅读题，每位选手随机抽取题目，然后上台在十五秒钟内朗读完毕。这是挺有难度的，因为阅读题出现了一些我们没教过的单词，而有些同学因为紧张，连会的单词都念错了，所以第二环节又淘汰了二十人，只剩二十位选手进入最后的第三环节。
经过前两轮比赛，我们班四个人就只剩我一个闯入最后环节了，我倍感责任重大，我想我要好好表现，为班级争光！第三环节是用英文做自我介绍，这反而让我感觉难度不大，因为之前做过练习和准备，我胸有成竹地流利朗读，博得了评委老师的点头赞许！比赛最后，我获得了第一名，老师和同学们都为我鼓掌祝贺，我心里也美滋滋的。我一定继续努力，争取更大的进步！...
