考研大纲对于英语一和英语二的字数规定不同，即英语一160到200词，英语二150词左右，但是在实际的阅卷操作中，两种试卷只要都不写超200字就可以了。
很多考研学生在写作当中常常忽略了自己的字数问题。
有的是思考半天不知道写些啥，甚至于把字故意写大一点，殊不知这样完全于事无补，因为阅卷人在你字数明显偏少的时候大致数数你的字数，那么扣分就在所难免了。
而有些同学会问，如果说字数不够要扣分，那么字数写超了，就算没功劳也有苦劳嘛，为何也要扣分呢？

首先我们要看到的是，题目中对字数的上限本来就是有要求的，如果字数写超了，则意味着你并未在我们规定的字数内去表达我们规定你要表达得准确而全面的内容，说白了就是，你的语言表达能力还是有欠缺的，因此，字数写超了，分数照扣不误。另外要提醒一下的是，虽然大纲对于英语一和英语二的字数规定不同，即英语一160到200词，英语二150词左右，但是在实际的阅卷操作中，两种试卷只要都不写超200字就可以了。不过其中值得注意的是，英语一如果刚刚写到160词的时候，给阅卷人的直观感受是你的字数有可能不够，所以尽量写到180词是最保险的方案了。
