On a distant island, in a small town, there lived a beautiful little girl. She was so lovely to look at that when she smiled at the sun, the sun hid behind clouds, and when she looked at the moon, the moon covered her face. But the girl was proud. She ignored other kids who wanted to be her friend, and instead spent all over her time staring into her mirror. Days became weeks, weeks became years, and still she spent her days looking at her own face. Finally, her eighteenth birthday arrived and to celebrate, her parents held an extravagant party. But no one came. Only then did she realize her narcissism has lost her something far more valuable than beauty.

Sam had a dog.Its name was Tod.It was very helpful,but it ate too much..So he

didn't like it.He wanted to kill Tod. He tied Tod in a bag and put it in the small

boat.He rowed the boat to the middle of a big river. Just as he threw the poor animal

into the river,the boat began to sink. Both began Sam and Tod fell into the river.

Tod was able to swim,but Sam couldn't.The dog bit the rope and broke it. It tried its

best to swim to save Sam. The man was saved,so he was very thankful to the

dog .He didn't want to kill the dog any more .From then on, he gave the dog as

much food as it wanted.

The hare and the tortoise The hare was once boasting of his speed before the other animals. ＂I have never been beaten,＂ he said, ＂when I run at full speed, no one is faster than me.＂ The tortoise said quietly, ＂I will race with you.＂＂That is a good joke,＂ said the hare. ＂I could dance around you the whole way.＂ The race started. The hare darted almost out of sight at once. He soon stopped and lay down to have a nap. The tortoise plodded on and on.
