我叫关淼，是北京航空航天大学的博士后，期望在出流动站之后到广西工作。

在博士毕业之时，我曾困惑于职业的选择，身边的亲朋好友都认为留校做老师或是在科学院所工作都是比较理想的，但我却期望能找到一个能发挥自身优势的工作，于是选择博士后作为过渡，再认真思考自己未来的道路应该如何走。

离开北京的决定是经过深思熟虑的。

从哈尔滨考学到北京，并获得博士学学位，博士期间成了家，在北京也购买房子，再有一份北京的稳定工作，这是无数外省学子无法完成的梦想，但这些都不是我所追求的。

崇高的理想，生活的期望，时代的召唤，历史的机遇，未来的向往，将这些因素结合起来，我发现自己需要一个更广阔的舞台。

首都、沿海还是中部，生活条件及待遇都不是决定自己能否发挥作用的最重要因素，关键要看个人的发展环境，因此，我义无反顾的做出了选择――西部。

虽然在北京找一份待遇好，又清闲的工作并不是难事，但我更希望到需要我的地方去工作。

在博士论文后面的致谢中我曾感谢妻子、父母多年以来对我学业的支持，他们一直默默的付出，迄今为止我没有给予任何回报，当我对他们说出自己投身西部的想法时，出乎意料的家里所有人都赞同我的决定，他们的支持给予了我信心和希望。

经过查询西部各省的情况，我选择了广西，有以下几个原因：第一，20xx年1月1日，中国-东盟自由贸易区全面启动，带给广西国际性的历史机遇;

第二：20xx年12月7日，国务院颁布实施了《国务院关于进一步促进广西经济社会发展的若干意见》，使北部湾区域经济建设实现里程碑式的跨越;

第三：广西壮族自治区党委常委、组织部部长陈向群表示，目前，广西干部队伍中年轻干部的数量还远远不能满足20xx年换届需求，20xx年将把人才的引进开发作为工作重点，努力在人才聚集上取得实质性进展;第四：我的博士导师曾是北京航空航天大学广西北海学院的院长，他曾对我说广西是个好地方，如果想做事业，可以选择广西。
