记得小时候，有一次爸爸带我去海洋馆，那里有活泼可爱的海豚，凶神恶煞的鲨鱼，还有沉着稳重的海龟。
当时看到海龟就笑了，我心想：这个大乌龟游得这么慢，还老是缩在壳里，好胆小。老爸笑了笑，说：“等你长大以后你就会知道了，海龟其实并没有那么胆小。”
当我上小学时，在自然课上第一次深刻地接触到了海龟，当自然老师给我们放海龟的记录片时，我心想：这有什么好看的，难道还看海龟在水里怎样游泳？当我看到海龟产蛋时，我才知道海龟知道自己若要在海里产蛋的话，就必定会被海中霸主给吃了，所以它决定冒死上岸去产蛋，它冒着随时可能被鸟吃掉的风险，一步一步地爬上沙滩，等与海岸有一定距离后，它开始用它那本该在水里畅游的前脚伸进炎热的沙子里，并慢慢耐心地挖一个坑，等它把蛋产在沙坑里后，它慢慢的把坑填上，再恋恋不舍地爬向海里，过了几周，就会有小海龟破壳而出，并爬向海里……
猛然间，我感觉海龟并没有我想象中的胆小，而是敢为了能够生出小海龟不惜一切代价，甚至付出生命的动物，每当我看到海龟为了爬上岸产蛋而不幸身亡时，我心如刀割一般，我立马转过头去，不敢再看下去，我怕它那么多的努力全部白费了，怕这个可伶的海龟被无情的夺去生命。
为什么？它明知上岸是凶多吉少，还要坚持，因为它知道，它为了要养育后代，必须义无反顾，明知前面异常凶险，它还要往前爬去。
它为了完成自己生命中的那个目标，不惜付出自己的生命。也让我懂得了只有经历风雨，才能见到最美的彩虹，也让我懂得了生命的意义。
一片沙滩，联通了生与死的桥梁。
我们只记得那个胆小懒惰的海龟，由有谁曾记得强忍着风险也要完成下蛋
