After reading this story, I have learned the importance of patience. The four sons in that story judge that pear tree superficially. Even though all their statements are right, they are one-sided conclusion. Due to their impatience, they miss the beauty and passion of other seasons. As we all know, Thomas Edison, the great inventor the world has never seen, would not invent the electric light if he was not patient to do thousands of those boring experiments. The Independent Spirit——about“ Jane Eyer” This is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit. It seems to me that many readers' English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally. Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt,the only relative she had,treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane's education in Lowwood Orphanage began, she didn't get what she had been expecting——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and that garden's owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. I have read “A little Princess” since this summer holiday. This story is very interesting and realistic.

The story is about a little girl Sara has a happy family when her father was alive, but one day , her father died of a serious illness, and she didn't have money, so her teacher Miss Minchin hate her. What a poor girl!

However, Sara was brave and kind. She didn't say something bad. Though she had very hard, but she is very happy every day. Finally one day her father's friend come and give Sara a happy life. Sara finally became a happy little princess

At this moment, I want to say that do everything should insist on, then you will get a surprise. Like this girl , when she was in trouble. She wasn't afraid. However, she was very brave and optimistic. What a kind girl!

The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

This novel mainly wrote one old person alone in marine fishes. He fished one big fish, tied up the fish head and the upper part of the body side the boat above. But he met the shark fish, the old person causes all one's skill and the shark fish fight, the shark fish the fish flesh which could eat all eats finished also has about 800 pounds.

This book promulgates the truth, not showed the person how regardless of, most feared is does not have the confidence. The confidence is just like is the automobile motor, is power which the person goes forward.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.
