Hello,everyone!Here is Wendy,giving a speech.In order to help you know more about Wendy.I wanna tell you something interesting about myself.And the story begins like this.When I was in Grade 2 in my high school,my teacher asked us to prepare a speech about anything that we wanna talk about.One day,it was my turn to do the job.Although I thought I had prepared so well,I still felt a bit nervous.And what's worse,I decided to add some body language to my speech,which I thought would help a lot.However,it was just stupid,very very stupid,after I really did this standing in front of the class.

And now I will show you how I did that and how stupid it was.It goes like,＂You,you and you,get together!”Ok,this is just part of what I said.I thought,it should have impressed my class deeply.On contrary,I heard hundreds of,oh,no,it should be thousands of laughters.And that is really quite bad.I even didn't know what had happened.So I continued the speech,but from then I couldn't find any confidence.

At present, a number of middle school students have picked up a bad habit - cheating in examinations.

There are three main reasons. First, schools have given students too many exams, some of which are too difficult. Second, some students are not hard-working and they don't work hard at their lessons. Third, they waste a lot of time playing games or surfing the Internet. So they haven't enough time to prepare for the exams. Finally, students have to do so to make their teachers and parents happy.

In my opinion, cheating in exams does great harm to our study. We students should be honest and diligent, and only in this way can we improve our study and make progress. Besides, our teachers should offer us fewer exams and more time to study for ourselves.

Youth

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing appetite for what's next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart, there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, courage and power from man and from the infinite, so long as you are young.

When your aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you've grown old, even at 20; but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there's hope you may die young at 80.

A word that has changed the world

Nowadays, with more and more serious problem such as the global increasing temperature, the melting ice and the rising sea-levering, people are recognizing the important of developing the low- carbon economic now. In this way , I believe that low- carbon that has changed the world.

There are many ways we have done reach the low-carbon economic. Firstly, discovering others fuels which is more clean and more green to instead of the using of carbon .Secondly , we have the save-energy conscious and do something which we can make, for instance ,using the bus rather than cars when you go out, re-use the thing that can be recycle used, reducing the use of plastic bags. Last but not least, we have plant more trees or other greenplants, in which way we can not only improve the environment, but also can make our home more beauty.

In my opinion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic is everyone must try their best do what they can do for it. Once everyone have the sence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves , it will be earlier to reach it.

Now, we enjoy every day because the good environment. It has changed our world.
