现在想取得这样的工作，学历应该是国家承认的师范专科以上毕业的，取得教师资格证书有责任心、有爱心的。教师这一职业承担着教书育人工作，起码得讲究良心，更多的是需要耐心爱心和奉献牺牲精神。

取得教师资格证书，已经在这个岗位上的，能力水平也须达到英语专科以上。除了必须的英语专业知识外，还要理解和掌握新课程标准的内容，更新教育教学理念，建立以学生为主体的教学模式，如小组自学、分组合作、合作探究、教师答疑解惑、课前预习、当堂巩固、课后练习提高。现在英语教学，方法很多，中学主要推行任务教学法，即任务驱动，在完成各种任务中，实现基础知识的掌握和基本技能的形成。小学阶段听说演唱画等方法为主，中学阶段听说读写于七、八、九三个年级应有不同的侧重。总之，方法须符合少年儿童的年龄特点和心理特点。
